With the Canon Powershot S5 IS, Canon has rolled out the long-anticipated successor to the S3 IS. Along with the S5 IS announcement, Canon is also announcing the Powershot SD850 IS. Even though both cameras are very different - the S5 IS is a larger ultra-zoom, and the SD850 IS is an ultra-compact - they still have a lot in common. The Powershot S5 IS will be available in June for $499 and the Powershot SD850 IS will ship in May for $399.
Both cameras have Canon’s optical image stabilization system, DIGIC III processors, face detection technology, in-camera red-eye correction, 8 megapixel resolution, and 2.5 inch LCDs. Also, a new Auto ISO Shift feature will, at the press of a button, increase the ISO so that faster shutter speeds can be used.
Canon Powershot S5 IS is the camera for the people who do not have the confidence to move to digital SLR camera. This camera is really fine for you..
